SA20 Season Starts on December 26
Next season begins on December 26 with defending champions MI Cape Town playing first. Durban Super Giants face them at Newlands Stadium in Cape Town for the opener.
Six teams fight it out including Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Pretoria Capitals this time. Joburg Super Kings and Paarl Royals make up the rest of the 2026 lineup.
Every team faces each other twice before the playoff stage kicks in properly. The top four teams go through to the knockouts after all league games wrap up. First and second place teams clash in Qualifier 1 for a final berth directly.
The third and fourth teams battle in an eliminator, where the loser goes home immediately.
