Salman’s viral statement on IPL
What is Salman doing now? He has become the owner of New Delhi team in Indian Street Premier League (ISPL).
This is a T10 tennis ball cricket tournament, where the fun of street cricket is there.
Salman said, “We are very happy with ISPL. This is our style – tennis ball, street cricket. Actually we play like this. Big leagues are not for us, this is better.” Meaning, Bhaijaan likes grassroot level cricket more.
Salman’s brother Sohail Khan was also there. He is the owner of Khan Tigers Paddle team.
Sohail said, “I want this league to become as big as IPL one day. But for this Indian players will have to start playing paddle. Media support and children’s interest is necessary.”
The third season of WPL is starting from August 12 and will run till August 16. The venue is Mumbai’s Nesco Center, where tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi has co-founded it.
These days Salman is focusing on his new film ‘Battle of Galwan’, which is inspired by the 2020 India-China Galwan clash.
