Vaibhav’s Amazing Journey: Ranji Debut at 12
Vaibhav’s journey is like something out of a movie. He made his Ranji Trophy debut for Uttar Pradesh at the age of 12 years and 284 days, a record for the youngest player in the tournament.
He was acquired by Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025 at the age of 13. There, he smashed a blistering century of 101 runs in 38 balls, the second-fastest century in IPL history.
It’s only behind Chris Gayle’s 30-ball ton. This is the fastest by an Indian. Now, Vaibhav is in form on the U-19 tour, and people hope he will soon shine at the senior level.
The Royals coaching staff is grooming him, and this fitness warning seems to be a part of that.
