14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi is creating a stir in the cricket world, this young star of Rajasthan Royals (RR) is surprising everyone with his batting in the Under-19 National Cricket Academy (NCA) camp in Bengaluru recently.
In preparation for the upcoming Under-19 tour of England, Vaibhav thrashed the bowlers and showed why he is the next big name in cricket.
When did Sixer King Vaibhav show a brilliant innings?
Vaibhav created such a stir in the NCA camp that everyone kept watching. This left-handed batsman was hitting skyscraper sixes over long on, mid-wicket and point.
The bowlers bowled off-pace balls, tried various tricks, but Vaibhav left no stone unturned in sending every ball out of the field.

Vaibhav made his debut for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025. He caught everyone’s attention by hitting a six off the very first ball against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Jaipur.
But the real feat happened on 28 April against Gujarat Titans (GT), when Vaibhav scored a century in just 35 balls. This is the record for scoring a century at the youngest age in T20 cricket and also the fastest IPL century by an Indian player.
In this innings, he hit 11 sixes, which equals the record for most sixes in an IPL innings by an Indian player.
In the last match of the season, against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Vaibhav also showed his class by scoring 57 runs in 33 balls. His strike rate was 206.55 and he also won the ‘Super Striker of the Season’ award.
Big expectations from Vaibhav on England tour
Now Vaibhav is busy preparing for the England tour with India’s Under-19 team. Under the captaincy of Ayush Mhatre, this team will play five ODIs and two four-day matches from June 24. Vaibhav is expected to open and fans are expecting big innings from him.
In the Under-19 Asia Cup 2024, Vaibhav scored 176 runs at an average of 44, so he is ready to make a splash in England too.
