Ishan Kishan is currently making a splash playing county cricket in England. After showing amazing batting for Nottinghamshire, now he has caught everyone’s attention in bowling as well.

In the match against Somerset on July 2, Ishan bowled an over that created a stir on social media. It was a fun moment when Ishan imitated the bowling of veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh and gave the fans a dose of laughter and fun.
Ishan, who is out of the Indian team, is doing brilliantly for Nottinghamshire in the County Championship. He scored two half-centuries in his first two red-ball matches.
He showed that he is in form by scoring 87 runs against Yorkshire and 77 against Somerset. But this time he surprised everyone not with the bat, but with the ball.
Ishan was handed the ball in the last over of the match. On the very first ball, he imitated Harbhajan Singh’s iconic action and bowled to Tom Kohler-Cadmore, who was close to a century. Ishan started with off-spin, then went around the wicket and bowled leg-spin as well.
His last ball went so far outside that it did not reach the batsman, but the umpire did not give it wide. Ishan conceded just 1 run in this fun over. The video is now viral on social media, and fans are praising his fun.

Ishan also did wonders with the bat. In reply to Somerset’s 379, Nottinghamshire scored 509 runs, which included Ishan’s 77-run innings. He hit 8 fours and 2 sixes in 106 balls.
Especially his six on fine leg off Matt Henry was well received by the fans. Ishan’s innings, along with centuries from Jack Haynes (157) and Ben Slater (124), put Notts in a strong position.
Ishan, who last played a Test for India in July 2023, is making the most of this opportunity. After scoring 354 runs for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2025, he is now shining in the county.
