Rohit Sharma, the star captain of the Indian cricket team, recently shared a cute anecdote from his love story, which will melt anyone’s heart.
In Harbhajan Singh and his wife Geeta Basra’s YouTube show “Who’s the Boss?”, Rohit told how he proposed to his wife Ritika Sajdeh. This story is so romantic that you too will smile after hearing it.
Rohit told that he had made a special plan to propose Ritika. He took Ritika to the cricket ground in Borivali, where he started playing cricket in his childhood.
To make the thing more fun, Rohit said to Ritika, “Come on, let’s go eat ice cream, I am getting bored!”
Ritika thought that they were really going to eat ice cream, but Rohit had a different plan.
Rohit took Ritika on a tour of Mumbai. They reached Borivali via Marine Drive, Haji Ali, Worli. Ritika did not know much about the places after Bandra, so she kept asking,
“Where is the ice cream shop?” Rohit smartly said, “There is a great shop in Borivali, I will show you!”
And then he took Ritika to his old cricket ground. The ground was dark, and Ritika had no idea what was going to happen.
Rohit had already told his friend to set up something special on the ground and capture the moment on camera.
As soon as they reached the middle of the ground, Rohit got down on one knee and proposed to Ritika.
This surprise was so beautiful for Ritika that she was stunned. This romantic gesture of Rohit really won her heart.
