India defeated Australia by 9 wickets in the third ODI, and the heroes of this victory were Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

Together, they forged an unbeaten partnership of 168 runs, demonstrating their continued dominance in ODI cricket.
Rohit scored 121, including his 50th international century, while Virat played a brilliant innings of 74.
Australia scored 236, but Harshit Rana’s bowling of 4/39 and the batting of Rohit and Virat gave the Aussies no chance.
Rohit and Virat show their old mettle
Rohit started off briskly, targeting Mitchell Starc and then smashing two consecutive sixes off Adam Zampa.
On the other hand, Virat batted intelligently, rotating the strike, and after reaching 50, celebrated Rohit’s century with him.
The duo added 168 runs in 170 balls, and India achieved the target in 38.3 overs with 69 balls to spare. The Sydney ground erupted in applause from Indian fans.
Former cricketers also praised the pair.
Wasim Jaffer wrote on X, “Not out. Not done. #AUSvIND.”
Irfan Pathan said, “Happiness is seeing Rohit Sharma & Virat Kohli finishing the game for Team India.”
Yuvraj Singh praised the duo’s 5400+ ODI runs on Instagram.

Team India’s spectacular comeback
This victory not only ended India’s losing streak in the series, but Rohit and Virat also gave a befitting reply to their critics. They silenced those who questioned their age and past form with their batting.
Harshit Rana’s bowling performance played a key role in dismissing Australia for 236.
This explosive innings by Rohit and Virat proved that they remain the backbone of the Indian ODI team.
