Australian cricketers mocked the Indian team for the tension between India and Pakistan after the Asia Cup.
This all happened just before the first ODI in Perth, where Australian stars shared new ideas to outwit India on a KayoSports show.
This all seems to be just a way to heat up the atmosphere before the series begins.
The Indian team is leaving for Australia on October 15th for a series of three ODIs and five T20Is.
But the Australian players are in full form on the very first day, and their goal is clear: to surprise the Indians!

A round of jokes on the Australian show
The show featured male players like Glenn Maxwell, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Josh Hazlewood, Nathan Ellis, Mitchell Marsh, and Matt Short, as well as female players like Alyssa Healy, Alana King, Tahlia McGarth, and Sophie Molineux.
The KayoSports hosts said, “We all know India is on a roll, but we’ve spotted a major weakness. Now we know they’re not big fans of traditional greetings, so we can scare them off before even bowling.”
Meaning, if India doesn’t like traditional greetings, we’ll scare them off before the ball is bowled.
Captain Mitchell Marsh went to the extreme – “We put Travis Head’s finger in a cup of ice.” And Alyssa Healy, along with Alana King, said, “We’ve got healing hands, haven’t we, Kingy!!”
Nathan Ellis mentioned popcorn, “We’re thinking popcorn,” to which Matt Short immediately added, “Just add a bit of salt.
Hazlewood’s ‘Shooter’ jibe is the most scathing
Josh Hazlewood is a longtime rival of India, having played for RCB in the IPL. This time, he posted a video featuring ‘The Shooter’, taking a direct dig at the India-Pakistan dispute.
“What about the Shooter? The Shooter!” He targeted the recent controversy.
Hazlewood will partner Mitchell Starc in ODIs but may be out of T20Is. After recovering from injury, he has become Australia’s star bowler.
Australia is also facing difficulties, with Alex Carey, Josh Inglis, and Adam Zampa ruled out for the first ODI. Glenn Maxwell may miss the T20Is.
The team will rely on Travis Head, Marsh, and Cameron Green. This series will be a test for India, especially amid the drama following the Asia Cup. But this joke of the Australian players will make the series more exciting.
