When Zimbabwe bowled out Sri Lanka for just 80 runs in a T20 match and won by a huge margin by five wickets.
This win was not only memorable for Zimbabwe, but it also leveled the series 1-1.

What is the whole matter?
Zimbabwe’s bowling did wonders in this match. The Sri Lankan team, which is usually known for its batting, was completely shattered this time.
Being all out for 80 was Sri Lanka’s second-lowest score in T20Is. Earlier, they were bowled out for 77 against South Africa in New York this year.
Zimbabwe also broke the record of 90/9 made against Afghanistan in Harare in 2022.
Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat first, but the Zimbabwean bowlers did not give them any chance. Sikandar Raza and his team bowled brilliantly and sent the Sri Lankan batsmen to the pavilion one after the other.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka’s Dushmantha Chameera also bowled brilliantly and took three wickets, taking Zimbabwe’s score to 61/5 at one point. But Ryan Burl and Tashinga Musekiwa did not give up.
Both of them made a great partnership and took Zimbabwe to victory. Musekiwa finished the match by hitting two brilliant fours in the end.
After the match, Sikandar Raza was chosen as the Player of the Match.
Praising his team, he said, “We kept saying we are close to playing good cricket, and it’s nice to be on the other side of the result. Everyone is breathing a sigh of relief.”
Raza also said that his team will now put in all its efforts to win the series in the third and decisive match.
This victory was also special for Zimbabwe because they showed that they can defeat any big team.
