    The fun of Asia Cup 2025 has begun, in the Afghanistan vs Hong Kong match in Abu Dhabi, Afghanistan won the toss and batted first and scored 177/5 in 18.5 overs.

    But the star was Sediqullah Atal, who played an unbeaten innings of 69 runs in 49 balls.

    He hit 6 fours and 3 sixes, strike rate of 140.82. This innings took the team to a strong position.

    Atal Holds the Innings Together

    In the beginning, the team was in a bit of trouble. Rahmanullah Gurbaz out on 8, Ibrahim Zadran on 1 run. Mohammad Nabi added 33, Gulbadin Naib went on 5. But Atal took over.

    He stayed, took singles and hit boundaries on occasion. His partnership with Azamtullah Omarzai was of 82 runs in 35 balls.

    Omarzai hit 53 runs in 21 balls, but Atal’s speed boosted the score.

    Atal showed amazing performance in the last overs. In the 16th over, he hit a four with a paddle shot on Atiqul Rahman Iqbal’s full toss.

    In the 17th over, he hit a six on Ehsan Khan’s ball, although it was a drop catch. Ayush Shukla took 2 wickets, but could not stop Atal. His innings gave Afghanistan a high score.
