Gill accidentally ran out Jaiswal during a crucial partnership between them. Angry fans blamed Gill for costing Jaiswal a potential double century. Social media exploded with reactions criticising the Indian captain’s judgment call.

    Jaiswal Clears the Air

Yashasvi Jaiswal on Shubman Gill spoke candidly after the day ended. He told reporters that run-outs happen regularly in cricket matches everywhere. The young opener refused to blame his captain for this mishap.

“It’s (his run-out) part of the game, so it’s fine,” Jaiswal said.

Jaiswal completed his seventh Test century before getting dismissed through that run-out. He was batting brilliantly and eyeing another big score at that moment. Yet the left-hander showed remarkable maturity while addressing this situation publicly.

“There is always a thought about what I can achieve and what can be my goal and my team’s goal, I just try and be in the game and make sure if I’m in, I should take it long,”  he added.

The opener emphasised that team performance matters more than individual milestones always. He wanted fans to stop targeting Gill over one unfortunate incident. His words reflected strong dressing room unity within the Indian squad.

    India Dominates West Indies Series

India won the first Test by a massive 140-run margin earlier. Both Gill and Jaiswal batted exceptionally well throughout that victory celebration. The team carried that winning momentum into the second Test confidently.

Indian spinners troubled West Indies batsmen despite the batting-friendly pitch conditions. They kept picking wickets at regular intervals during crucial phases yesterday. The bowling attack maintained pressure on opposition players from both ends.

    Personal Goals Drive Performance

Yashasvi Jaiswal on Shubman Gill’s partnership and team chemistry overall. He revealed that setting personal goals helps him stay focused during innings. These targets guide his approach while batting in different match situations.

Jaiswal wants to win matches for India rather than chase records alone. His team-first attitude impressed coaches and senior players around him lately. The youngster’s mindset reflects the future of Indian cricket perfectly.
