The second quarter final of the Duleep Trophy 2025 started like fire in Bengaluru, Central Zone created havoc with the bat on the very first day against North East Zone.

North East Zone won the toss and chose to field first, but the batsmen of Central Zone created such a stir that the score reached 432/2 in 77 overs. The run rate was 5.61, which looks like a T20 match.

Ayush Pandey was dismissed after scoring just 3 runs at the start of the match, but after that the batsmen took the bowlers to task. Aryan Juyal scored 60 runs, but returned to the pavilion after retiring hurt.
Then came Danish Malewar, who surprised everyone by playing an unbeaten innings of 198 runs. His innings included 35 fours and 1 six.
Captain Rajat Patidar also played a stormy innings of 125 runs, hitting 21 fours and 3 sixes. Yash Rathod remained unbeaten on 32 runs.

North East Zone bowlers had a bad time. Akash Chaudhary and Ferozim Singh took 1-1 wickets, but the rest of the bowlers did not get any success. Rongsen Jonathan gave away 130 runs in 15 overs, which was a nightmare for him.
Central Zone batsmen targeted every bowler and increased the score at rocket speed.
