Hardik Pandya has reclaimed the number 1 spot in the ICC T20I all-rounder rankings after a stellar performance in India’s 3-1 series win over South Africa. Pandya’s contributions with both bat and ball were crucial to the team’s success earning him widespread recognition.
Tilak Varma’s extraordinary performance in the South Africa series has catapulted him 69 places to enter the top 10 T20I batting rankings. Scoring 280 runs, including two consecutive centuries, Varma was named Player of the Series and now sits at the third spot, overtaking captain Suryakumar Yadav, who is ranked fourth.
Sanju Samson, after smashing two centuries against South Africa, has risen to 22nd in the T20I batting rankings. His consistent performances have strengthened his standing as a dependable batter for Team India.
Arshdeep Singh has reached a career-high ninth position in the ICC T20I bowling rankings. His impressive left-arm pace continues to make him a vital asset for the Indian team.
South African batters Tristan Stubbs and Heinrich Klaasen have also made gains in the T20I rankings climbing to 23rd and 59th spots respectively.
Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis now shares 12th position in T20I batting rankings while Maheesh Theekshana has risen to sixth in the ODI bowling rankings. New Zealand’s Will Young climbed to 22nd in the ODI batting rankings following consistent performances.
