Great news for Indian cricket fans! Shubman Gill confirms Bumrah’s return for the third Test at Lord’s. The pace spearhead missed the second Test due to workload management concerns. Now he’s back and ready to bowl at the home of cricket.

Shubman Gill Confirms Bumrah's Return to India at Lord's

The IND vs ENG 3rd Test starts on July 10th. Bumrah will definitely play in this crucial match. Team management wanted to keep their star bowler fresh for the series.

“Definitely (Bumrah back at Lord’s?). Very excited for that (Lord’s Test). Probably the most iconic cricket stadium in the world and as a kid everyone dreams about playing there and I think no bigger honour than to be able to captain your country and lead your team there”, Gill on Bumrah’s return.

India Bounces Back Strong at Edgbaston

What a turnaround this was! India completely dominated England in the second Test at Edgbaston. The visitors won by a massive 336 runs to level the series.

Shubman Gill played one of the finest knocks we’ve seen recently. His first innings 269 was pure class and determination. Then came his second innings of 161 – simply outstanding batting under pressure.

    Akash Deep Steps Up Brilliantly

Akash Deep grabbed his chance with both hands. The youngster took 10 wickets while replacing Bumrah in the lineup. Talk about making an impression when it matters most!

Deep’s bowling figures tell the whole story: 10 wickets for 187 runs. He troubled England’s batsmen throughout both innings with his swing bowling. The ball moved both ways off his hand consistently.

England crumbled in their second innings for just 271 runs. Their top order collapsed badly – five wickets down for 84 runs. This put them completely out of the match.

“He (Akash Deep) bowled with so much heart. The areas and lengths he hit, he was getting the ball to move both ways. On wickets like these, it’s difficult to do that, he was just magnificent for us.” Gill said.

Captain Gill was full of praise for Deep’s performance. He specifically mentioned how Deep moves the ball effectively. Prasidh Krishna also contributed well with the other bowlers.
