But Team India scored 188 runs in just 18.3 overs, winning the match by 5 wickets. The series is now 2-1 in India’s favor.

IND vs AUS: Arshdeep wreaks havoc
Australia had a poor start. Travis Head was dismissed for just 6 runs. Arshdeep Singh bowled brilliantly, taking 3 wickets for 35 runs in 4 overs.
Tim David scored 74 and Marcus Stoinis scored 64 runs, but the Indian bowlers kept the score tight in the final overs. Varun Chakravarthy also took 2 wickets.

IND vs AUS 3rd T20I: Great Battle in Washington
India also had a shaky start. Abhishek Sharma was dismissed for 25 and Shubman Gill for 15. Suryakumar Yadav scored 24 runs, but Washington Sundar was the real hero.
He smashed 49 runs off 23 balls, including 3 fours and 4 sixes. Jitesh Sharma played an unbeaten inning of 22 runs. Together, they easily achieved the target in the final overs.

For Australia, Nathan Ellis took 3 wickets, but proved expensive. Sean Abbott gave away 56 runs in 3.3 overs. India won with 9 balls remaining. Arshdeep Singh was named Player of the Match.
