South African President Cyril Ramaphosa sent a video message to the women’s cricket team before the World Cup final, but his outfit had everyone in splits.

He was wearing the national football team’s jersey, while the discussion was about cricket!
This video quickly went viral on social media, and people are asking how such a prominent man could make such a mistake.

Funny Message from the SA President
Ramaphosa gave the team a big boost of encouragement.
He said, “There will be almost 40,000 Indians who support cricket, and you know how cricket-mad they are. But they shouldn’t even begin to discourage you or wear you down. As you go out there, just know that across the Indian Ocean, you have 62 million.
Much as they have 1.3 billion, you have 62 million. And they say, you know, when you’re small, you can take on giants. So go out tomorrow and slay the giants.”
The team was amused by this, but the jerseys were the focus.
Ramaphosa then pulled on his football shirt and said that South Africans were going to buy it. People on the internet are making memes and saying this is a super cool blunder.
By the way, this message was for the Proteas team led by Laura Wolvaardt, who are playing in the Women’s ODI World Cup final for the first time.
India’s Harmanpreet Kaur-led team, runners-up in 2005 and 2017, will now compete for the maiden title.

Explosive Preparations for the Final
India defeated Australia sensationally in the semi-finals, while South Africa easily defeated England.
This video of Ramaphosa has cricket fans thinking that sometimes sports throws surprises that are more memorable than the match itself.
The Proteas team is now forgetting the jerseys and focusing solely on the game.
The Indian players have stated that they will give their best. The pre-match commotion was merely entertainment.
