India’s 2026 T20I Squad was finally announced on June 6th. Shreyas Iyer is the new captain. He replaces World Cup-winning captain Suryakumar Yadav. Big change for Indian cricket.

Tilak Varma is the vice captain. Another young leader is getting responsibility. The squad has 16 players, the same squad for both tours basically.

Long Term Planning for 2028
