    India’s biggest win margin is impressive against the West Indies in Rajkot. West Indies got completely demolished in the opening Test match. Two-match series at Rajkot. The first test itself decided everything. India completely dominated the encounter.

    October 2018 was the year when we won by an inning and 270. That’s an absolutely massive victory margin. Not many teams achieve that.

    The match was one-sided from day one onwards really. India batted first and declared. At 649/9 that’s a huge first innings. West Indies couldn’t compete honestly. They couldn’t match India’s batting power. Their bowling was ineffective. Their batting was worse.

    India’s biggest win margin happened because of complete domination. Both batting and bowling performed. West Indies had no answer for India’s quality basically.

    West Indies managed 180 in their first innings only. Then they followed on basically. But the second innings was equally poor with 196 runs. Again completely inadequate performance. India won easily by an innings and 270. A massive deficit was created by India. West Indies couldn’t recover from the first innings collapse.

    India started playing Test cricket. The first test was in 1932 at Lord’s ground in England. They lost that match. But didn’t give up honestly. They kept improving their performance by playing more and more Tests.

    The first victory came in 1952 against England in a series. In a five-match series basically, the final Test was at home. Vijay Hazare led the team. A great batsman and captain. Heb brought the first international victory.

    India finally won a Test. That was a historic moment. Everything started from that victory. Test cricket became important. Indian cricket got recognition. Players developed their skills and became more experienced over time.

    Since then, India has improved massively. Played over 100 Tests against Australia, England, and the West Indies. Achieved many great victories. Won matches at home, and also won overseas sometimes. Test cricket is important for Indian cricket basically. The biggest wins are memorable like the West Indies match.

    Key Performances Making It Possible

    Prithvi Shaw scored a century on his debut century, which is rare. He scored 134 runs. Young talent impresses everyone by making a strong statement on debut. Virat Kohli also batted well with 139 runs. The captain is setting an example.

    Ravindra Jadeja scored a hundred and Rishabh Pant made 92. Multiple batsmen scoring big. That’s why India batted so much and declared.

    Bowling was equally impressive. Ravichandran Ashwin took 4 wickets in the first innings. Controlling the West Indies. Kuldeep Yadav was excellent with a 5-wicket haul in the second. Spinner bowling brilliantly basically.

    West Indies couldn’t cope. Kieran Powell and Roston Chase only scored fifties. The rest of the batsmen failed. India’s biggest win margin. Happened because everything worked. Batting and bowling both. Performing at the highest level. Making it a record victory.
