IPL star Nitish Kumar Reddy has recently made a big revelation. He told that before the mega auction last year, many IPL teams had offered him a hefty amount to join their team, but he turned down all these offers, showing loyalty to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

In an interview shared on Puma’s YouTube channel,

Nitish said, “I got good offers from many teams, but SRH is like home to me. I am connected to this team with a true heart. My dream is to win the IPL title with this team.”

The main reason for his loyalty to SRH is that the franchise showed faith in him even when he was not in his best form.

Nitish said about this, “Now it is my time to prove their trust true. Other franchises had talked to me, but the answer was clear for me – to play for SRH.”

    Nitish Kumar Reddy’s explosive performance

Nitish Kumar Reddy played 13 matches for SRH last season and scored 303 runs at an average of 33.67 and a strike rate of 142.92. He gave stability to the team in the middle order and also took 3 wickets in bowling.

It was only after his brilliant performance that he got a place in the Indian team and he has played 5 Tests and 4 T20 matches so far. His performance was also very good on the Australia tour.

Last year SRH lost to Kolkata Knight Riders in the final, but this year the entire team including Nitish is desperate to win the title. He believes that he wants to repay the support the franchise has given him by winning the trophy.
