In The 43 Match of IPL 2026 at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium turned into an absolute run-fest, with the Rajasthan Royals posting a massive total of 225/6 after batting first.

However, the manner in which the Delhi Capitals batted in this high-scoring encounter turned the match into a one-sided affair.
Delhi chased down the target, reaching 226/3 in just 19.1 overs to claim the victory.
Parag and Ferreira Propel Rajasthan to a Massive Total
Rajasthan did not get off to a brisk start, and early wickets fell quickly. However, captain Riyan Parag stepped up to take charge, playing a magnificent innings of 90 runs off just 50 balls.
His batting exuded confidence, as he played shots to all corners of the ground.
Following his departure, Donovan Ferreira completely shifted the momentum of the match. By smashing 47 runs off just 14 balls, he piled immense pressure on the Delhi bowlers.
In the middle order, Dhruv Jurel also made a valuable contribution of 42 runs.
While Mitchell Starc did manage to claim 3 wickets for Delhi, the rest of the bowling attack proved to be quite expensive, allowing Rajasthan to reach the formidable total of 225.
Rahul and Nissanka’s Batting Guides Delhi to an Easy Victory
A target of 226 runs is by no means easy, but the Delhi Capitals batsmen made the chase look remarkably simple.
Pathum Nissanka displayed an aggressive approach right from the start, scoring 62 runs off 33 balls.
Partnering him, KL Rahul played a classy innings of 75 runs. The magnificent partnership between the two effectively knocked Rajasthan out of the contest.
Subsequently, Nitish Rana added a quickfire 33 runs to make the victory even more comfortable.
In the end, Ashutosh Sharma (25) and Tristan Stubbs (18) finished off the match without facing any pressure.
Delhi reached 226 runs in 19.1 overs, securing a comprehensive 7-wicket victory.
With this win, Delhi showed that even the biggest target is not difficult for them if the top order performs well.
