In the 52nd match of IPL 2026, the Gujarat Titans delivered a spectacular performance in Jaipur, defeating the Rajasthan Royals by 77 runs.

Playing at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Gujarat batted first and posted a total of 229 runs in 20 overs; in response, the Rajasthan team was bowled out for just 152 runs.
The heroes of Gujarat’s victory were captain Shubman Gill and spinner Rashid Khan.
Gill and Sai Sudharsan Dismantle Rajasthan’s Bowling Attack
Having lost the toss and been put in to bat first, Gujarat got off to an extremely strong start. Sai Sudharsan scored 55 runs off 36 balls, while captain Shubman Gill smashed 84 runs off just 44 deliveries.
Gill’s innings featured 9 fours and 3 towering sixes. Both batsmen maintained constant pressure on the Rajasthan bowlers.
Subsequently, Washington Sundar also contributed with some brisk batting, adding 37 runs off 20 balls. In the final overs, Rahul Tewatia scored 14 runs off just 4 balls, propelling the total score to 229.
For Rajasthan, Brijesh Sharma claimed 2 wickets, but the rest of the bowlers proved to be quite expensive.
Rajasthan Team Tangled in Rashid Khan’s Spin Web
Chasing a massive target of 230 runs, Rajasthan got off to a poor start. Captain Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed after scoring just 3 runs.
Although young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi attempted to provide a brisk start by scoring 36 runs off 16 balls, wickets continued to tumble at the other end.
In the middle order, Ravindra Jadeja scored 38 runs and Dhruv Jurel contributed 24 runs, but the Gujarat bowlers maintained complete control over the match.
Rashid Khan delivered a magnificent bowling performance, claiming 4 wickets, while Jason Holder took 3 wickets in the final overs to bring Rajasthan’s innings to a close.
With this resounding victory, Gujarat Titans have further consolidated their position on the points table.
Both the team’s batting and bowling departments appeared to be in superb form, whereas Rajasthan Royals seemed to be in need of reworking their bowling combination.
