A surprise move between two IPL teams has caught the attention of fans. Both sides hope it will fix an area of need. IPL 2027 new trade news is here as SRH and DC complete a player swap.

SRH-DC makes a fresh swap deal that sends T Natarajan back to Hyderabad. Zeeshan Ansari moves to Delhi Capitals in return for the bowler. Natarajan joins SRH for a revised fee of ₹5 crore, down from his earlier price.
Natarajan Returns To SRH
The left-arm fast bowler played for SRH from 2020 to 2024. He took 65 wickets in 55 matches at an economy rate of 8.82. Natarajan will rejoin the franchise ahead of the IPL 2027 season.
He is SRH’s third-highest wicket-taker in the history of the IPL. Delhi Capitals had signed him for ₹10.75 crore earlier, so his fee has dropped.
SRH are known for explosive batting, but their bowling has declined recently. Natarajan could provide an experienced death-bowling option in the closing overs of matches.
Zeeshan Ansari Joins Delhi Capitals
Zeeshan Ansari is a 26-year-old wrist-spinner who moves from SRH to DC. He joins the Delhi squad for a fee of ₹40 lakh. Delhi were looking for a wrist-spinner after Kuldeep Yadav’s departure.
He is expected to add valuable depth to Delhi’s spin attack. Ansari impressed in his IPL debut by taking three wickets in his first match. He finished IPL 2025 with six wickets and will now look to help Delhi’s spin unit.
Earlier Trade And Key Dates
DC had reportedly acquired Rishabh Pant from Lucknow Super Giants for ₹15 crore. Kuldeep Yadav moved the other way at a reported ₹13.5 crore. This IPL 2027 new trade adds to a busy period.
