Chahal shared a quote saying financially independent wives can’t demand alimony from their husbands. The post clearly targeted Dhanashree who works as a dancer and YouTuber earning well. He wrote “Maa kasam khao nahi paltoge iss decision seh”, which means swear you won’t change this decision.
That caption had a laughing tone, showing Chahal felt happy about the court ruling. People noticed the post was aimed at his divorce settlement with Dhanashree directly. Within hours the cricketer removed it but damage was done as fans took sides.
During the final court hearing, Chahal also took a dig at Dhanashree by wearing a t-shirt with “Be Your Own Sugar Daddy”, which went viral at that time.
