The second T20 match between India and Australia is underway today at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The first match was washed out due to rain in Canberra, where India scored 97 runs in 9.4 overs.

Today, Australia again won the toss and put India in to bat first. But things went wrong right from the start.
India opener Shubman Gill was hit on the head by a fast bouncer from Josh Hazlewood on the third ball. Everyone gasped.
Hazelwood bowled the first over, and the third ball was short. Gill went forward to play a pull shot, but was late. The ball hit his helmet. Hazlewood immediately rushed to Gill, and the physio arrived.
A concussion test was conducted, and everything was checked. Gill spoke to the physio and umpires, then continued batting.
A user shared the video on Instagram, where it is clearly visible how shaken Gill was.

India’s start in the match looked slow

Captain Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma were also dismissed early. India were reduced to 32/4 in 4.5 overs.
Australia’s fast bowlers took advantage of the movement on the pitch. Hazlewood took three wickets, while Nathan Ellis took one. Currently, Abhishek Sharma and Axar Patel are trying to stabilize the innings.
Gill played a brilliant innings in the first T20, scoring an unbeaten 37 off 20 balls, including four fours and a six.
Suryakumar scored an unbeaten 39 off 24 balls. That match was cut short by rain, but today’s situation is completely different. India is looking to bounce back in T20Is after losing the ODI series 2-1.
