Jasprit Bumrah found himself in an awkward situation at the airport recently. A video showing him having a heated exchange with a fan went viral online. The incident happened while the Indian fast bowler was waiting in line quietly.
The fan started recording a selfie video without asking for permission from Bumrah first. He kept his phone really close to the cricketer’s face while filming continuously. Bumrah warned him several times that the phone might drop and break badly.
But the fan completely ignored these warnings and continued recording the video anyway. This behaviour clearly annoyed Bumrah who then took the fan’s phone into his hands. The video suddenly ended right there creating a huge buzz on social media.

Social media exploded with different opinions about what Jasprit Bumrah did at the airport. Some people felt he overreacted and shouldn’t have grabbed the fan’s phone like that. They believed celebrities should always stay calm and patient with their supporters.
However, many others defended Bumrah’s actions, saying the fan crossed a line there. Everyone deserves some personal space, even if they’re famous cricketers or celebrities. The fan should have asked politely before shoving a phone in someone’s face.
