Rishabh Pant smiled after Lucknow’s win against Gujarat at Ahmedabad. His team won by 33 runs but still couldn’t make the playoffs. The captain found hope in his team’s fighting spirit though.

“We can play good cricket when we put our minds to it,” Pant said. He looked proud of how his players fought till the very end. This win showed what Lucknow could do when everything clicked together perfectly.
Lucknow Super Giants beat Gujarat Titans convincingly in their final league match. But the celebration felt different because their playoff dreams were already over. The players knew they had played well but it was too late.

Marsh, Markram, and Pooran batted brilliantly for the team. Their runs helped Lucknow post a big total on the scoreboard. William O’Rourke and Akash Singh bowled with real fire and passion.
Captain Pant’s Tough Season
This tournament has been really hard for Rishabh Pant as a batter. He scored only 151 runs in 13 matches with a poor average. Many fans expected much more from their star wicket-keeper captain this year.

But Pant showed his class in the final match with quick runs. He smashed 16 runs off just 6 balls against Gujarat’s bowling attack. Two big sixes off Kagiso Rabada reminded everyone of his hitting power.
Pant admitted that injuries hurt his team throughout the entire tournament season. Many key players missed important matches because of fitness problems. The captain praised his squad for never giving up despite these setbacks. He wants his team to learn from these mistakes for next season. The captain believes these lessons will make them much stronger next year.

Lucknow finished sixth in the table with 12 points from 13 matches. Gujarat stayed at the top despite losing this final league game. The points table shows how close the competition was this season.
