A medical student from Karnataka and her mother filed an FIR at the Mogra Police Station recently. The FIR was registered in Hooghly, West Bengal, over serious allegations against Abishek Porel officially.
The allegations include a physical relationship based on a false promise of marriage made earlier. According to the complaint, the relationship lasted approximately three-and-a-half years based on a marriage promise.
The complainant also alleges assault and criminal intimidation by Porel during the period of the relationship. Porel has reportedly refused to marry the woman later which led to the FIR filing.
The allegations are serious in nature and involve intimate matters requiring careful investigation by the police. Hooghly Rural Police are currently collecting evidence and statements from both parties in the case.

Abishek Porel has categorically denied all allegations, describing them as false and a completely fabricated matter. He stated that the allegations are motivated by his rising popularity and recent on-field cricket success.
