Reports suggest RCB explored Gill’s availability during recent mega-auction discussions secretly. Gujarat Titans owns Gill currently, but retention strategies keep changing rapidly. Shubman Gill considered by RCB because his star power matches Kohli’s perfectly.

Rohit Juglan spoke about this possibility on his YouTube channel recently. He believes Gill could become Indian cricket’s next big brand ambassador. RCB wants someone who sells tickets and jerseys like Kohli does.
“Gill has already been established as one of the biggest brands of Indian cricket. We are all aware that after Virat Kohli, the player who could be the biggest brand of Indian cricket, their poster boy, it would be Captain Shubman Gill,” Juglan said.
“Just like the broadcasters as well as the MRF had cashed in on Gill, RCB too wanted to cash in on this opportunity to acquire a player who could emerge as their next big thing. At that time, there was only one name, Shubman Gill,” he added.
