Finally, On this historic day November 2nd, India has lifted the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 Trophy.

In 2005, South Africa hosted, and Australia defeated India in the final to secure their second consecutive victory. The women’s game was now becoming global.
In 2009, Australia hosted, and England defeated New Zealand to become the winners. In 2013, India returned, but Australia defeated the West Indies to take the trophy.
In 2017, England won the cup at home, defeating India. Now, women were becoming stars in the world of this sport.
In 2022, New Zealand hosted, and Australia defeated England to become the most successful women’s champions, the sixth time.
Overall, Australia has been the champion seven times, England four times, and New Zealand once.

Now, in the 2025, India’s women’s team defeated Australia in the semi-finals to reach the final. South Africa defeated England.
