Indian cricketer Nitish Kumar scored his maiden Test century at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
On the third day of the Boxing Day Test on December 28, Nitish Kumar Reddy not only batted brilliantly, but he proved how important he is for Team India with this innings.
Nitish Kumar Reddy played an unbeaten innings of 105 runs in front of Australia’s strong bowling, in which he showed his technique.

Actually, before this Test match, former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar had questioned the ability of Nitish Kumar Reddy. Manjrekar had said that it is difficult to expect 120 runs from a player batting at No. 8.
He had also said that it was too early to call Nitish Kumar Reddy an all-rounder. But Nitish proved what an important player he is for the team by responding with his bat.
His innings proved to be crucial for Team India at the MCG, as India scored 385/9 in reply to Australia’s 474.
