Will Manav Suthar Permanently Replace Washington Sundar Just Yet?
The idea of Manav Suthar permanently replacing Washington Sundar remains premature at this stage. Sundar’s batting versatility gives India valuable depth in overseas conditions especially. He also performs well against left-handed-heavy opposition batting lineups consistently.
Suthar entered the Galle Test after Sundar’s recent unavailability there. He took a wicket with the very first ball he bowled. Still, Suthar hasn’t yet matched Sundar’s broader all-round skill set overall.
